Yes, Laenor Velaryon is gay in House of the Dragon. As the book is written from the point of view of several people, the relationship between Laenor and Joffrey is speculated but never really confirmed. Viserys I travels to the Driftmark to arrange the marriage between Laenor and Rhaenyra.
